#WordUpEdin Panel discussion on 3rd & voluntary sector web work. Seems we've all had to balance altruism with cold hard project management.

#WordUpEdin some healthy constructive criticism of the disconnect between WP in the developers' minds and our clients' reality.

We briefly discussed volunteering our skills for third sector organisations (at least for the ones with little spare cash to buy web skills commercially).
There are 196 website opportunities with Volunteer Scotland.
If you want to help further afield, try UN Online Volunteering – there are currently three WordPress opportunities there.
Please add any other links to relevant volunteering sites here, and if you do volunteer, write up your experiences (or better still, speak at the next WordUp Scotland!).
